I wondered why everything had gone a bit quiet amongst the garden birds this afternoon, then I looked up…..

wonderful birds.
Magnificent! Normally flying a too great a distance for my longest lens to capture any kind of image. I was lucky it circled right overhead but it was a shame it was circling away from me and the sky is a bit dull. I do love watching them rising and falling on the thermals 🙂
And red kites… we often see buzzards and kites when we pop over the border to Wales.
Yes, we didn’t see any kites this visit but I have seen them on other occasions. The Welsh population and the English re-population are close to meeting up now which is really important for the long term health of the UK’s red kites 🙂
Oh that makes me want to sprout wings and soar above the earth…..the freedom 🙂
Doesn’t it just 🙂
nice capture!
I was lucky it circled right above me but on strong winds and good thermals it was off and away so quickly!
