Jaw To The Floor

Jaw To The Floor

When was the last time you were so blown away by a piece of music that your jaw left a dent in the floor?

Well, the packed audience at The Boileroom, in Guildford, tonight all experienced an entire evening of jaw-dropping and mind-blowing musicianship, courtesy of Petteri Sariola, Mike Dawes and Jon Gomm.

Getting one of the best solo guitarists on the world would be nice, getting three is ridiculous. But the stars aligned and we managed to find a date that fitted all three of their calendars, this is a very special one-off show.”

Perhaps you’ve already seen Jon Gomm’s fabulous video “Passionflower” on YouTube, or Mike Dawes’ phenomenal version of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know?

If not, there’s no excuse, just follow those links and be astounded!

As ever, more to come, review and photo wise, on my Facebook Page as soon as possible.

  1. I will definitely look at those links later – off to Wales right now – to look at a house – excited!!
My OH is a guitarist. Me – I am musically incompetent ๐Ÿ˜‰

      • Just back from Laugharne ๐Ÿ™‚ so no, not just over the border, but much closer to the sea! So we have now listened to your links – and what can I say? David thinks he may have seen Gomm before in Guildford. I am just amazed!

      • Jon Gomm is originally from Leeds and has played all over so he may have seen him! He’s even been on BBC Breakfast ๐Ÿ™‚ Amazing musicians! Laugharne looks beautiful. I know I’ve been along that part of the coast as a child with my Nain so your photos triggered a few memories!
