These flowers are for some dear friends who are having a difficult week, to let them know they’re in my thoughts and to bring a bit of brightness into darker days.
Our cheerful, ball dahlias are still happily flowering in the garden. It’s nice to be able to pop outside and bring the sunshine back in with me. The frosts can’t be far off though now, so I shall enjoy them while they last!

They’re happy flowers for sure 🙂 Today will have been hard for some of my extended family who are saying farewell to their great-grandmother. She was 100 years old.
