Blue Monday: A Fine Display
Today I visited Northbrook Park Wedding Venue with Bobby and Alana, just one month before their big day. I’m really looking forward to photographing their wedding, a truly lovely couple and a simply beautiful venue!
If ever there could have been a good omen for their upcoming nuptials, it was this; the sight of one of the venues’ resplendent peacocks displaying his full glory for us in the Walled Garden, where I will be doing most of the group photographs!
Thank you Bobby and Alana for asking me to be your wedding photographer! The lead-up has been a delightful experience and I just know that your special day will be as glorious as this faultless, feathered flourish π
Love that wisteria! (Not to mention the peacock display)
Sometimes wisteria can last quite a while but I think it may be finished by the time of the wedding π¦ There are lots of climbing roses ready to bloom around the grounds though and on the day I’m going to tempt the peacocks into some photos (I hope!) with some tasty bird food! It’s a beautiful setting Jude, you’d love it π
Yes, I think the wisteria will have passed its peak by then, but the roses will be good. It does look like a lovely place (not sure about wedding photos in the Nun’s Garden π ) but only open for weddings? You must take lots of photos! Including that orangery!
Wonderful blue shots! The blooms on that building are just awesome.
And, good luck with the wedding photography!
Thanks! I’m looking forward to the day. It’s the post-processing that’s the hard work!
Thank you π Wisteria really is a fabulous climbing plant!
Hello Sarah,
What a spectacular wedding destination! The peacock makes a beautiful display for your camera. Thanks for sharing today.
I’m looking forward to reading your comment on my blue report post. Please come back.
Have a Happy Blue Monday!
Thanks Sally π It really is a beautiful place! My friends Sam and Shaun got married there four years ago. I’m hoping to tempt the peacocks into some photos with some bird seed on the day π
Looks like a really lovely venue for photography potential – lots of fun, for sure. x
It really is quite fabulous π Thanks Jenny!
What a grand place! Wow!
It’s beautiful! Despite its grandness it has a very relaxed feel. I think it’s the wonderful gardens that make it so perfect π Thanks Amy!
What amazing images!! I went to find your MMC photo which I love and found these. π
Thanks Laura π You can never predict when a peacock will actually perform its beautiful display so that’s the first time I’ve managed to photograph it! The venue is just beautiful too as are the lovely couple π I’m looking forward to photographing them on the day!
You’re welcome :). You were so fortunate! Looking forward to more π
I might have some interesting photos to post tomorrow π
Looking forward π
