      • Very creepy indeed!! Those were the days when politicians had personality though, even if it was a dodgy one πŸ˜‰ How’s the weather over there? One of my best friends is going to Bergen with her family for the weekend. She’s a keen photographer and makes lovely videos too πŸ™‚ I think she’s going to love the landscape there!

      • She’ll like Bergen certainly but not the prices! When’s she coming – Saturday should be OK and Friday abit cloudy, I think. The forecasts here are nototiously dodgy though!

      • Not so different from a UK forecast then πŸ˜‰ We’re getting a cold spell this weekend so I think it’s only going to be a few degrees warmer here than in Norway!! They’re flying out tomorrow so I hope it does stay sunny for Saturday. I know most things are very expensive in Norway and Sweden!! I went to Stockholm about 10yrs ago and even though I knew that food and drink was pricey it still took me by surprise just how much more costly things were compared to here. Still, it’s balanced by the country’s living wage. Bergen appears to very popular at the moment! Two other friends are going for a week in December πŸ™‚

  1. Love this, Sarah. And I, too, have learned a new vocabulary word. I’m going to try it out on someone later…hopefully, I won’t be describing my dinner. πŸ™‚

    • Thanks Jane πŸ™‚ I must confess I don’t think I’ve ever used it in general conversation! I worked in a gallery over 10yrs ago now and we used to have a “wicked words” list that was regularly added to with anything that had a great sound and feel to it πŸ™‚ That’s when I first heard this word. Many great words have stuck from the gallery days! We were all artists and writers so collecting words was a great exercise πŸ™‚
