    • Thanks Herman 🙂 I spent a while sitting quietly watching the thrush getting food and trying to appear non-threatening. I have a lovely series of images but the thrush really treated me to this pose in the maple tree 😀

      • Don’t they just! Practically impossible to catch sight of any of the birds in the trees now as they’re in full glorious foliage but there’s so much wonderful birdsong everywhere it’s just nice to stop and listen for a while 😀

      • I too love the colours of the foliage this time of the year Sarah, the leaves all have that wonderful fresh feel and look to them, and then to catch all the bird songs too, it’s almost a perfect way to spend a summer afternoon. Makes me want to head straight out with my camera…………..but alas, I forget, it’s Scotland, it’s cool, grey and drizzly today!! Lol! Can’t really complain, we had some amazing weather last week! 🙂

      • Yeah it’s been chilly, grey and very wet here too the last few days!! Couldn’t believe there was such a nip in the air. All coming down to us from the north again. If it had diminished the humidity I wouldn’t mind so much!! I think it’s going to improve towards the end of the week though 😀

      • It’s been all over the place through the rest of summer! Definitely autumnal here now 😉 I don’t mind the cooler days when there’s a bit of sunshine too. Hope you’re well and have enjoyed the rest of your summer Andy!

      • Our weather was quite mixed too Sarah, but we didn’t get the very hot weather like you did. And like you, it’s definitely become quite Autumnal just in the last week, but it’s been sunny too 🙂 I’m very well thanks, hope you and everyone down there are good too 🙂

      • Autumn colours have been a bit slower to come out this year but I think that’s because we had those really hot weeks earlier in September! Yeah we’re all good really 🙂 Just had Simon’s 50th Birthday and managed to completely surprise him with a party! Off to Wisley with all the family today 🙂

      • That’s really good to hear that you are all well, and you managed to pull off a surprise 50th birthday, that’s no mean feat!! Hope that Simon had a great day 🙂 Enjoy your trip to Wisley, hope the sun is shining down in Surrey as well as up here! 🙂
