    • Thanks so much Raewyn πŸ™‚ It’s dedicated to my New Zealand family! Wish I had wings to get me over there to be with them all right now. At least technology brings us closer together! Working out what time to facetime my cousin gives me a headache though πŸ˜‰

    • Thank you so much Adrian πŸ˜€ It was such a great colour combination with the simplicity of the white butterfly but I worked hard on the processing to get the balance just how I wanted it πŸ™‚ Really lovely to have that appreciated!

      • She saw the specialist today and it’s a rare and aggressive form of cancer but the surgery was a good start! Next the plan is to try to reduce it as much as possible through radiotherapy. She’s still being really positive and was talking about all the joys of spring in NZ πŸ™‚ They’re peach blossom is out and the daffodils! I think those sights are lifting her spirits πŸ™‚

      • That’s amazing she is so positive. I have a tendency to get really depressed when I’m not well. I’m a terrible patient! Let’s pray her pain lessons through radiotherapy!!

      • Oh I think we all do! Even Val. She’s only as human as the rest of us πŸ˜‰ I think all the conversation we’re having through her daily posts on FB is a good and positive distraction for her though! Yes, we’re all praying that her pain is lessened and that they can at least shrink the tumours through the radiotherapy. I expect she just wants to get on with it now! I know she’s not enjoying having to have lots of bed rest!! I’m like that too.

      • Yes indeed!! The TV still has it’s place as a companion when you’ve no energy to deal with anyone else but I know the internet has been an invaluable support for so many people going through various troubles in their lives! It’s great for keeping family and friends close when they’re miles away too πŸ™‚

    • Thanks Inger πŸ™‚ The mixed colours of the flowers really set the butterfly off beautifully! Whites are just stunning to see up close, especially when the light catches those wings. I love the subtle golds and greens on them that shimmer in the light πŸ˜€
