    • Thanks Mark ๐Ÿ™‚ I always like to get into the glasshouse the week before the official start as it’s relatively quiet and there are always a number of butterflies already flying ๐Ÿ™‚ Hopefully I shall get down there tomorrow! The sun should be shining so they should be flying lots ๐Ÿ˜€

    • Thanks Seonaid ๐Ÿ™‚ Oh yes, they’re back and the event is hugely popular now!! It’s even been on the news. I will mostly try to go at times during the week when they’re not going to be queuing out the doors. I will be doing a week volunteering with Butterfly Conservation UK in the temperate zone, giving information on UK species and talking about the conservation being done here as well as around the world for the tropical species people will be seeing. I’m looking forward to doing it again ๐Ÿ™‚ I can talk about butterflies all day and I absolutely love talking to younger visitors to the glasshouse about them!

      • The days have been quite bright lately which makes it even more wonderful at Wisley!! When the sun is shining the butterflies are much more active, dancing around the glasshouse ๐Ÿ™‚ I usually meander back to the carpark through the wild woods and watch the birds busying themselves as the sun sets afterwards. It’s magical ๐Ÿ™‚
