Wordless Wednesday: The Gardening Goldfinch

SING!
I couldn’t resist sharing this singing robin with you all today for Wex Mondays. I don’t think he could have opened that beak any wider! Talk about being full of the joys of Spring, they were literally bursting out of this lovely little bird. The sight and sound put a huge smile on my face so I hope it makes you smile too!
The Winter Hedgerow
The weather may still be somewhat unseasonable but RHS Wisley is still glorious for many reasons!
Today and tomorrow the RHS Daffodil Competition is being held at the gardens, along with early Rhododendron, Camellia and Spring Ornamental Blooms.
I had originally thought to post a photo from the competition but, as ever, I got distracted by the lovely little birds whilst we sat outside the Glasshouse cafe with coffee and cake.
This sweet and shy little blue tit rather captivated me, darting out from the beech hedge to grab some seed, mealworm or cake crumb, then disappearing back into the safety of the foliage.
I will be sharing all my images from today on my Facebook Page so do please come and visit me.
