Professionally Cute

Professionally Cute!

Professionally Cute

Easter Holidays mean I get to spend more time with my grandsons! Matthew is three and does cute professionally 😉 We were at a local park enjoying the warm Spring weather and I asked him if he’d grown too big to fit through the log holes. Almost! They really do grow so quickly. Callum, who’s six, tried to fit in one too, but I didn’t get a photo of him for two reasons; one, I couldn’t see his face; two, I was laughing too much! Had such a lovely time with them I decided that this would be my entry for Wex Mondays this week. It just expresses all the joy I feel getting to spend time with the kids, watching them play and laugh. And no, you can’t have Matthew! He’s ours 😀

Blue Monday: Little Boy Blue

Blue Monday: Little Boy Blue

Matthew has found his feet! He had a great time toddling about on the grass at RHS Wisley Gardens yesterday. He may not be able to go too far or too fast yet but once they’re up and going, there’s no stopping them. Good luck to his mum, Charlotte!

Weekly Photo Challenge: Adventure

Matthew's 1st Birthday Party

Weekly Photo Challenge: Adventure

The greatest adventure of all is awaiting young Matthew – life! Childhood itself is a mini-adventure within the overall story of our lives and Matthew, his brother Callum and their cousins are enjoying every moment of it together. Watching them all playing together at Matthew’s First Birthday party was a joy. Matthew is certain to be taking his first unaided steps any day now and once he’s off there’ll be no stopping him! I’ve added in some captions on Matthew behalf for these galleries 😉

They all had fun playing outside in garden together. They tried to rope me in to playing “It”, but my running-round-the-garden-screaming days are, sadly, a bit behind me now!

I love the way small children can turn just about anything into the greatest toy EVER!

Meeting Matthew

Meeting Matthew

Weekly Photo Challenge: Sea

Sea. What kind of emotions does the sea or ocean make you feel?

Simon and I have been dreaming of the seaside all week-long for one small and perfect reason, Matthew.

Simon’s Grandson was born on Monday evening, in Hastings on the South Coast of England, to proud parents, Charlotte and Danny.

His big brother, Callum, absolutely loves him but definitely enjoyed a bit of extra attention today from myself and his Grandpa 🙂

It was wonderful meeting Matthew! He’s a little angel with skin so soft and bow-shaped lips, I’m almost envious 😉

Today the sea sang of love, life and family.
